“I have both sympathy and empathy to find a long-lasting solution for the people of Sri Lanka. When it comes to Sri Lanka, I think there are some things we can do from the international society, but at the same time, there is a lot the Sri Lankan people have to come together and work with together themselves.”

Furthermore, she said that Norway should continue the partnership with Sri Lanka.

She said, “I don’t believe in boycott as a method. What the details should be in our future partnership, I believe the future foreign ministry and the new foreign minister will have a great plan for.”
