PM to visit Dubai in the new year

Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa is reportedly set to leave for Dubai on the 2nd of January 2022 on an official state visit.

According to Lankadeepa, the Prime Minister’s Office said the Prime Minister is set to attend the Expo 2020 exhibition, which is being held in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). 

Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa has been invited to attend the event as the Chief Guest on the 3rd of January 2022.

The Prime Minister’s Office further said that a discussion has been organized with the Head of State of the UAE, while discussions will also take place with other officials during the visit.
