What happened to SL’s gold reserves?

Sri Lanka’s gold reserves has declined by USD 206.8 million last month, the Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL) said.

By the end of November 2021, gold reserves stood at USD 382.2 million and it dropped to USD 175.4 million by the end of the following month.

Meanwhile, Sri Lanka’s total reserves increased to USD 3.137 billion, up from USD 1.588 in November.
