President reverses Basil’s instruction; Thesara to be Litro Chairman again

President Gotabaya Rajapaksa has ordered to reverse the removal of Thesara Jayasinghe from the post of Litro gas company Chairman.

Jayasinghe had been removed from the post following Finance Minister Basil Rajapaksa’s instruction. Basil Rajapaksa also instructed to appoint Renuka Perera as the new Litro Chairman.

This was reported while the President was in a sudden inspection visit at Litro company in Muthurajawela this morning. When he heard about the news, the President instructed the officials to reverse Basil Rajapaksa’s instruction.

Jayasinghe was a frontline member of ‘Viyathmaga’ organisation.
