Nathasha Edirisooriya who was arrested for her statements made during a stand up comedy show, comparing the childhood of Prince Siddhartha with the modern children, was granted bail by Colombo Fort Magistrate’s Court a short while ago.
The bail was granted for the allegations filed against her under the Sections 120, 291 (a) of the Penal Code and Comuputer Crimes Act.
She was granted bail for the allegations filed under ICCPR by the Colombo High Court yesterday.
