Technical issues ground two SriLankan Airlines flights, leaving passengers stranded

Numerous travelers faced significant inconvenience this morning (October 1) as technical problems led to the cancellation of two SriLankan Airlines flights destined for Nepal and India.

Flight UL 181, originally scheduled to depart for Kathmandu, Nepal, at 08:20 a.m. with 200 passengers on board, experienced a substantial delay before it was officially declared canceled due to a technical malfunction.

Similarly, another flight destined for Mumbai, India, this morning was also called off due to an aircraft technical issue.

A spokesperson from SriLankan Airlines has confirmed that arrangements have been made to accommodate the affected passengers in hotels.
