Electricity Amendment Bill to be presented to Parliament in January

Minister of Power and Energy Kanchana Wijesekera says that electricity tariffs will be revised in next January.

He told the Parliament today (09) that the proposed legislation will be presented to the House in January.

Minister Kanchana Wijesekera emphasized that the proposed legislation will not be presented to Parliament on the 12th or 13th, while refusing the allegations made by various parties which claimed that there will be no time for the public to file petitions.
