Extreme Weather: Schools Closed in Sabaragamuwa Province

The Secretary of Education of Sabaragamuwa Province has announced the closure of all schools in Ratnapura Educational Zone and in Elapatha, Ayagama, Kalawana Educational divisions in Nivithigala Educational Zone tomorrow (4) due to adverse weather conditions.

The decision was made in response to the prevailing adverse weather conditions in those areas.

Furthermore, the Educational Secretary of the Sabaragamuwa Province stated that decisions regarding the closure of schools based on weather conditions will be made from tomorrow onwards, with consultations with the Zonal Education Directors.
