The Suwaseriya ambulance service has halted operations in Kaluwaragaswewa following an assault on two of its employees by a group of individuals, MP Harsha De Silva informed Parliament today.
MP De Silva criticized the police for their lackluster response to the incident.
“More than 1,000 people will be affected if Suwaseriya suspends its operations across the entire district,” the MP warned.
