Breaking: Veteran Politician R. Sampanthan Passes Away

Ilankai Tamil Arasu Katchi (ITAK) MP and former Opposition Leader R. Sampanthan passed away, a short while ago.

He was 91 years old.

Sampanthan was receiving treatments at private hospital in Colombo, at the time of his demise.
