President Ranil Wickremesinghe has appointed MP Seetha Kumari Arambepola as the State Minister for Health, Women’s & Child Affairs, the President’s Media Division (PMD) said.
She replaces her current position as the State Minister for Health.
The new portfolio given to her is previously held by Geetha Kumarasinghe.
She was sacked by the President after she announced her support to Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa in upcoming Presidential Election.
