The Sri Lanka Air Force (SLAF) has addressed recent media reports suggesting that its aircraft have been misused for presidential campaigning.
In a statement posted on ‘X,’ the SLAF clarified that the use of its aircraft by presidential candidates is done on a payment basis, adhering to established procedures.
The response comes amid speculation that state resources might be improperly used for campaign activities.
