The evaluation of Grade 5 Scholarship examination answer sheets has been suspended for two weeks, following orders from President Anura Kumara Dissanayake, the President’s Media Division (PMD) announced.
The President issued these instructions after meeting with a group of concerned parents on the night of 30 September.
The suspension comes in response to the controversy surrounding Part 1 of the exam paper, after it was revealed that several questions had been leaked.
